March Dinner Meeting:  Are Chemists Too Shy For Their Own Good?

Madeleine Jacobs, former CEO and Executive Director of ACS, and former Editor-in-Chief of Chemical and Engineering News, spent nearly 45 years communicating science to the public and advocating with policymakers.  Join this dynamic speaker in a talk and discussion about how we can do a better job of engaging the public and policymakers in supporting research and development and STEM education.  Ms. Jacobs is currently President and CEO of the Council of Scientific Society Presidents, where she continues to communicate and advocate on behalf of the sciences.
